Electric motor as driving machine requires maintenance. If electric motors of 6kV and 10kV rated voltage and output above 200kW are involved, urgency of the maintenance is even higher, demanding high quality treatment.
High voltage (HV) electric motors are divided into slip-ring el.motors and squirrel cage el.motors.
The difference in their construction requires different maintenance.
Maintenance of the DC motors is more complex work which needs knowledge and expirience.
MG SERVIS have it both!
MG SERVIS can perform servicing of high voltage (HV) electric motors at site or in shop depending on the extent of servicing and Customer's request.
MG SERVIS activities in the field of HV electric motors are grouped as follows:
A routine survey involves:
To perform this survey, only parts of bearing should be dismantled.
It is recommended that this survey is performed after 6000 hour operation
approximately.
An overhaul survey relates to the replacement of bearings (motors with rolling bearings), check-up of rotor and stator winding.
The overhaul survey must be performed after 12000-1500 hour operation (depending on the number of starting and duty).
If the motor does not operate, but is installed in the area of other motors or plants in operation, overhaul survey should be done every three years.
Heavy work and bad maintenance of the motors have consequence for damages of same parts on the motors.
In case that you have any damages on your motors, MG SERVIS can intervene in very short time.
In cooperation with our sub-contractors we can offer and produce as follow:
